How the Camel Got His Hump

Here are four out of seven of the images I recently painted for Core Knowledge. It was fun to experiment with the flat Persian style and with the animals' anatomies. Recognize, the camel didn't have a hump yet in the third image.

Cliff Castle

I went with a group of students to Zion's National Park. Although the rocks were not these colors, the study of them helped me produce this for my BFA.

Stories to tell

This book cover was painted for "Jee's Bones." A published young adult novel about a kid that finds dinosaur bones in a cave. Those bones eventually came to life and helped Jeremy save the day.

This image is a bathtub version of Moby Dick.
And here one is a scene from Fahrenheit 451.

It's a nature thing

What is a tree's worst fear? And what does that answer fear?

Did you hear about...

Did you hear about that deer last year that got a plastic pumpkin stuck on his head? The rangers thought they were going to have to cut it off, but when they saw the deer later - it was pumpkinless. How did he manage?

I have no explanation...

Richard the Third

A little bloody, I know, but he did do ruthless things to get to the throne.

Figures galore

Self-portraits

I obviously did this self-portrait in two different mediums. Which do you prefer?
